Home care fund for Tài in Hải Phòng
Help Tài stay in his own home with four months of part-time care.
🇻🇳 Hải Phòng, Vietnam1,470 views
I'm caring for my father, who's 74. After a diagnosis of dementia Tài can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Tài desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Tài worked all of his life as a factory worker, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $450 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $320
• Medication and prescriptions: $60
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $25
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $45
