Home care fund for Sebastián in Monterrey
Sebastián, 82, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $1,850 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 82. After a fall and hip fracture Sebastián can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Sebastián desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Sebastián worked all of his life as a seamstress, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $1,850 goes:
• Part-time carer (eight months): $1,550
• Medication and prescriptions: $160
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $100
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $40
