I'm caring for my father, who's 78. After the death of his spouse Salim can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Salim desperately wants to stay at home. I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer. Salim worked all of his life as a schoolteacher, and raised 2 children.
