Home care fund for Sakshi in Nashik
Sakshi, 89, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $850 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for me, who's 89. After a diagnosis of dementia Sakshi can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Sakshi desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Sakshi worked all of her life as a factory worker, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $850 goes:
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $100
• Medication and prescriptions: $55
• Part-time carer (six months): $695
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
