Help Ritu stay in her own home with three months of part-time care.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 80. After a fall and hip fracture Ritu can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Ritu desperately wants to stay at home. I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer. Ritu worked all of her life as a nurse, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back. Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference. Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies. Where the $700 goes: • Part-time carer (three months): $510 • Medication and prescriptions: $60 • Hospital bed and mattress rental: $40 • Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $90 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Sunil
