Home care fund for Perla in Lapu-Lapu
Perla, 94, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $1,100 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 94. After a diagnosis of dementia Perla can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Perla desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Perla worked all of her life as a nurse, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $1,100 goes:
• Part-time carer (eight months): $930
• Medication and prescriptions: $70
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $70
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $30
If you're reading this, thank you.
