Home care fund for Paul in Lagos
Paul cannot afford the care He needs after a stroke last May; we are asking for $400.
🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria464 views
I'm caring for my father, who's 88. After a stroke last May Paul can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Paul desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Paul worked all of his life as a shopkeeper, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $400 goes:
• Medication and prescriptions: $75
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $90
• Part-time carer (eight months): $235
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Wishing Paul a smooth procedure and a full recovery. We're a small family in Lahore but we're thinking of you. Greetings from Lahore.
Good luck. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. After 12 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
