Nathaniel can't afford the care He needs after a stroke last June; we're asking for $450.

I'm caring for my father, who's 87. After a stroke last June Nathaniel can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Nathaniel desperately wants to stay at home. I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer. Nathaniel worked all of his life as a seamstress, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back. Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference. Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies. Where the $450 goes: • Part-time carer (three months): $340 • Medication and prescriptions: $60 • Hospital bed and mattress rental: $50 Thanks for being kind about this.
