Help Mwende stay in his own home with eight months of part-time care.

I'm caring for my father, who's 95. After worsening Parkinson's disease Mwende can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Mwende desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Mwende worked all of his life as a schoolteacher, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $650 goes:
• Part-time carer (eight months): $520
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $100
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $30

Sure. The biggest one is part-time carer (eight months), $520. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks for looking so closely.
