Home care fund for Madeline in Lethbridge
Madeline, 88, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $4,800 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 88. After a diagnosis of dementia Madeline can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Madeline desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Madeline worked all of her life as a seamstress, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.

What exactly is the $4,800 for?
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. part-time carer (eight months) comes first ($3,900) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Happy to explain more.
