Home care fund for Lucas in Scranton
Lucas, 84, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $6,150 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 84. After worsening Parkinson's disease Lucas can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Lucas desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Lucas worked all of his life as a nurse, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
