Home care fund for Kingsley in Ikeja
Kingsley, 94, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $350 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 94. After worsening Parkinson's disease Kingsley can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Kingsley desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Kingsley worked all of his life as a nurse, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $350 goes:
• Medication and prescriptions: $50
• Part-time carer (eight months): $280
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $20
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Quick update: $15 raised so far (4%). the first invoice got paid this week. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
