Jacob can't afford the care He needs after a stroke last June; we're asking for $3,650.

I'm caring for my father, who's 90. After a stroke last June Jacob can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Jacob desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Jacob worked all of his life as a seamstress, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $3,650 goes:
• Medication and prescriptions: $660
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $560
• Part-time carer (four months): $2,430
