Heitor can't afford the care He needs after a heart attack; we're asking for $1,400.

I'm caring for my father, who's 92. After a heart attack Heitor can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Heitor desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Heitor worked all of his life as a schoolteacher, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $1,400 goes:
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $110
• Part-time carer (eight months): $1,250
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $40
