Home care fund for Gopal in Thane
Gopal, 76, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $800 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 76. After a diagnosis of dementia Gopal can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Gopal desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Gopal worked all of his life as a factory worker, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $800 goes:
• Medication and prescriptions: $80
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $65
• Part-time carer (six months): $655
