Home care fund for Emiliano in El Paso
Emiliano, 91, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $3,450 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 91. After a stroke last July Emiliano can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Emiliano desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Emiliano worked all of his life as a factory worker, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $3,450 goes:
• Part-time carer (three months): $2,200
• Medication and prescriptions: $690
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $300
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $260
