Divya cannot afford the care She needs after worsening Parkinson's disease; we are asking for $800.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 81. After worsening Parkinson's disease Divya can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Divya desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Divya worked all of her life as a seamstress, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $800 goes:
• Part-time carer (eight months): $600
• Medication and prescriptions: $85
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $40
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $75
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Wishing you peace. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care.
