Derek can't afford the care He needs after worsening Parkinson's disease; we're asking for $4,350.

I'm caring for my father, who's 74. After worsening Parkinson's disease Derek can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Derek desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Derek worked all of his life as a schoolteacher, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $4,350 goes:
• Part-time carer (three months): $2,800
• Medication and prescriptions: $660
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $270
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $620
