Home care fund for Dennis in Manila
Dennis, 82, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $550 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 82. After the death of his spouse Dennis can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Dennis desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Dennis worked all of his life as a bus driver, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $550 goes:
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $30
• Medication and prescriptions: $110
• Part-time carer (three months): $410
