Home care fund for Daniel in Bronx
Daniel, 78, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $4,750 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 78. After a heart attack Daniel can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Daniel desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Daniel worked all of his life as a carpenter, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $4,750 goes:

• Medication and prescriptions: $280
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $540
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $680
