Home care fund for Asma in Cairo
Asma, 83, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $250 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 83. After worsening Parkinson's disease Asma can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Asma desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Asma worked all of her life as a farmer, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $250 goes:
• Medication and prescriptions: $140
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $70
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $40

It's all in the list in the story. medication and prescriptions is the big one at $140, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. I'll keep the page updated.
