Asher, 86, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $5,050 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 86. After a fall and hip fracture Asher can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Asher desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Asher worked all of his life as a farmer, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $5,050 goes:
• Part-time carer (eight months): $3,700
• Medication and prescriptions: $770
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $300
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $280
