Home care fund for Artem in Kyiv
Artem, 74, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $1,150 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 74. After a heart attack Artem can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Artem desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Artem worked all of his life as a seamstress, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $870
• Medication and prescriptions: $65
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $95
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $120

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. part-time carer (four months) comes first ($870) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. It helps to be asked.
