Home care fund for Allison in Dundee
Allison can't afford the care She needs after a heart attack; we're asking for $5,100.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 87. After a heart attack Allison can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Allison desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Allison worked all of her life as a carpenter, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $5,100 goes:
• Part-time carer (six months): $3,850
• Medication and prescriptions: $540
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $155
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $555
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
Updates from Ruby
Good news. Because of your gifts ($67 in total) I met with the care agency and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
