Eda was diagnosed with a deviated septum causing chronic infections in December. The surgeon at Ankara Regional Medical Center recommended hip replacement surgery, and She is scheduled for March. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,300, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $900 short.

While we wait, Eda struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
