Hetal received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
A cut in working hours left Hetal short on rent for 2 months; help us stay in our home.

When my hours were cut in half in June, Hetal fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Tuesday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $750.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by September, the family must leave.
There are two young children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Hetal has started working two part-time jobs, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $750 goes:
• Late fees and court costs: $45
• First month of rent as a buffer: $145
• Rent arrears (2 months): $560
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Sending love. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. I went through something like this 5 years ago and strangers helped me out.
