Cape Town
I earned a place in Year 11 at Cape Town International School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform. My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $200, which is more than we have. I love biology and want to become an architect. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard. I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything. Where the $200 goes: • Laptop: $90 • School uniform and shoes: $50 • Textbooks and workbooks: $45 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $15 Thanks for being kind about this. - Zola

  • Sending love, Zola. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I went through something like this 2 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings.

    • Shared this with my family. Thinking of Cape Town.

      • rooting for you. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Love from Parramatta.

            • Praying for you. Shared it with a few friends. My neighbor in Bang Khen donated after I showed her your page.
