Help Zoey through 12 rounds of treatment for colon cancer
Supporting Zoey through colon cancer: medication, transport to the Manchester Oncology Institute, and living costs while She can't work.
Anywhere in the world996 views
Zoey was diagnosed with colon cancer in February. The oncology team at the Manchester Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in April. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Zoey is 37, worked as a nurse until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Manchester Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $8,600 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,000
• Scans and lab work: $500
• Transport to the Manchester Oncology Institute: $840
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $410
• Household costs while unable to work: $850
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
