Ping, my uncle, passed away on 21 June after complications from pneumonia. He was 55 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,500 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 6 July. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Ping to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank. Where the $1,500 goes: • Transport of the deceased: $400 • Memorial gathering for the family: $440 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $660 Thank you so much.
