Help Yves replace the fuel pump and return to work
Without my taxi Yves can't work; a $850 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my taxi. 8 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $850. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $850 goes:
• Labor charges: $190
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $510
• Towing and inspection: $150
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
