Help Yevhen keep his home - 5 months behind on rent
A long illness left Yevhen short on rent for 5 months; help us stay in our home.
🇷🇺 Russia1,106 views
After a sudden layoff at the packaging plant, Yevhen fell 5 months behind on rent. Last Friday a court summons for non-payment was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $1,150.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by October, the family must leave.
There are two young children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Yevhen has started working extra hours at a market stall, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• Rent arrears (5 months): $750
• Late fees and court costs: $55
• Utilities in arrears: $110
• First month of rent as a buffer: $235
Every share and every dollar helps.

Stay strong, Stanislav. Hope this works out for you. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Lviv!
Best of luck. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Love from Hyderabad!
Thanks for sharing this. Shared this with my family. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings
