Help Yetunde save Nala - surgery needed
A German shepherd named Nala needs orthopedic surgery - a $300 bill the family can't cover.
🇳🇬 Epe, Lagos, NigeriaPosted Aug 16, 2026747 views
Nala is my German shepherd of three years. On 7 August we rushed to the Epe Emergency Vet Clinic with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $300.
They have stabilized Nala, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Nala is more than a pet - Nala is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $30 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Epe Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $300 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $30
• Emergency surgery: $230
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $40
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

hope it all works out, Yetunde. We've got a rescue too so I know how much they mean. Wish I lived closer to Orlando so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Epe.
Hang in there, Yetunde. Hope this works out for you. All the best.
Sending love. Hope you get there. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
Sending good thoughts. We've got a rescue too so I know how much they mean. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
