The heating account is 4 months behind. Yasir received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on May unless $600 is paid. He had never been late before a reduction in hours.
Yasir called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $110 first, which isn't available.
The household includes an elderly mother, and going through the cold months without heating isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by.
Yasir is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
