Help Xiang keep the Neighbors' Pantry pantry stocked
Help keep a free food pantry open for families facing hunger in Fresno.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Friday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 24 families, and now we feed 285 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 37% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 17 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Fresno market and keep every receipt.
Each $30 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $2,250 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $210
• Baby formula and diapers: $610
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,430
I hope life is good to you.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Xiang!
It's all in the list in the story. refrigeration and electricity is the big one at $210, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Thanks for looking so closely.
Wishing you the best, Xiang. More neighborhoods should do this.
