Help Wunmi pay for laparoscopic endometriosis surgery at Nsukka General Hospital
A scheduled laparoscopic endometriosis surgery in August is out of reach without help covering $650 of the cost.

Wunmi was diagnosed with a hip fracture that never healed properly in June. The surgeon at Nsukka General Hospital recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and She is scheduled for August. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,300, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $650 short.
my mother has been in and out of Nsukka General Hospital since June. The doctors say a hip fracture that never healed properly will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,300 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Wunmi struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 7 weeks. During that time Wunmi won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $650 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $250
• Hospital stay (4 nights): $180
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $70
• Post-operative medication: $50
• Physiotherapy sessions: $55
• Travel and lodging for the family: $45
With deep gratitude,
Blessing
