Wolfgang runs a volunteer pantry feeding 150 families; this fund restocks shelves for the summer.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Wednesday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 17 families, and now we feed 150 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 56% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 6 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Berlin market and keep every receipt.
Each $45 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $3,150 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,650
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $800
• Baby formula and diapers: $410
• Refrigeration and electricity: $290
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
- Wolfgang

This could happen to any of us. Put this on a community board in Caloocan this morning. Take care.
