Help Wilma keep her home - 4 months behind on rent
A 10-day notice to quit arrived last week. Wilma needs $2,650 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Rotterdam.

After a sudden layoff at the call centre, Wilma fell 4 months behind on rent. Last Friday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $2,650.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by November, the family must leave.
There are three school-aged children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Wilma has started working two part-time jobs, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $2,650 goes:
• Rent arrears (4 months): $1,650
• Late fees and court costs: $165
• Utilities in arrears: $250
• First month of rent as a buffer: $585
