Ziggy is my three-legged dog of eleven years. On 21 July we rushed to Fresno Animal Hospital with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $1,150. They have stabilized Ziggy, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Ziggy is more than a pet - Ziggy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $240 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Fresno Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Ziggy's recovery.
