Help Willow save Ginger - surgery needed
Ginger, Willow's rescue greyhound, needs urgent treatment for a ruptured cruciate ligament costing $2,300.

Ginger is my rescue greyhound of two years. On 18 August we rushed to the Burnaby Emergency Vet Clinic with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,300.
They have stabilized Ginger, but the treatment can't wait beyond December.
Ginger is more than a pet - Ginger is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $270 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Burnaby Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,550
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $260
• Medication and follow-up visits: $320
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $170
