Help Weston replace the gearbox and return to work
Weston drives for a living in Bellevue, and a broken gearbox has stopped all income for 8 weeks.
🇺🇸 Bellevue, Washington, United States1,021 views
I make my living with my motorbike. 8 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,500. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• gearbox replacement (parts): $950
• Labor charges: $130
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $290
• Towing and inspection: $130
Every share and every dollar helps.

hope you make a strong comeback. Love from Wudil.
You're not alone. Looking forward to the next update. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Greetings from Dar es Salaam
Thinking of you. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Take care!
Best of luck. This could happen to any of us. After 13 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care.
