Poppy is my senior cat of eleven years. On 31 December we rushed to Manchester Animal Hospital with bloat. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $1,550. They have stabilized Poppy, but the treatment can't wait beyond March. Poppy is more than a pet - Poppy walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $230 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Manchester Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Poppy's recovery. Where the $1,550 goes: • Emergency surgery: $830 • Hospitalization (2 nights): $580 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $140 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
