Help Waylon save Buddy - surgery needed
Buddy, Waylon's rabbit, needs urgent treatment for a broken leg after a road accident costing $3,000.

Buddy is my rabbit of two years. On 11 August we rushed to the Sherbrooke Emergency Vet Clinic with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $3,000.
They have stabilized Buddy, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Buddy is more than a pet - Buddy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $300 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Sherbrooke Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Buddy's recovery.
Where the $3,000 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,700
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $770
• Medication and follow-up visits: $210
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $320
Thanks for being kind about this.
Updates from Waylon
Quick update: $1,152 raised so far (38%). I made the first payment toward diagnostics. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($666 in total) the first invoice got paid this week. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
