Waseem was diagnosed with an aortic valve defect in February. The surgeon at Sukkur Community Hospital recommended hip replacement surgery, and He is scheduled for April. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $690, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $550 short.
my son has been in and out of Sukkur Community Hospital since February. The doctors say an aortic valve defect will get worse without hip replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $690 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Waseem struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Waseem won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.

• Physiotherapy sessions: $95
