Help Walker keep the the Sunday Shelf pantry stocked
Walker runs a volunteer pantry feeding 84 families; this fund restocks shelves for the school holidays.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run the Sunday Shelf every Wednesday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 14 families, and now we feed 84 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 57% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 20 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Fresno market and keep every receipt.
Each $55 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $3,050 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,150
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $1,150
• Baby formula and diapers: $460
• Refrigeration and electricity: $290
