Help Walid through 8 rounds of treatment for a rare sarcoma
Walid is facing a rare sarcoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Walid was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in June. The oncology team at Nuremberg Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Walid is 56, worked as a hairdresser until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Nuremberg Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $9,850 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,500
• Scans and lab work: $1,350
• Transport to Nuremberg Cancer Centre: $920
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $380
• Household costs while unable to work: $700
