Help Walid pay for gallbladder removal at Marseille Community Hospital
A scheduled gallbladder removal in November is out of reach without help covering $1,300 of the cost.

Walid was diagnosed with a large ovarian cyst in September. The surgeon at Marseille Community Hospital recommended gallbladder removal, and He is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,150, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $1,300 short.
my son has been in and out of Marseille Community Hospital since September. The doctors say a large ovarian cyst will get worse without gallbladder removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,150 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Walid struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 10 weeks. During that time Walid won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $530
• Post-operative medication: $280
• Physiotherapy sessions: $490

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. It's not much but it's yours. Love from Karachi!
wishing you peace. Shared this with my family. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless.
Hang in there, Samir. This could happen to any of us. Thinking of Marseille.
