Help Vusi with an overdue electricity bill before summer

The electricity account is 2 months behind. Vusi received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless $200 is paid. He had never been late before an unexpected car repair. Vusi called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $40 first, which isn't available. The household includes three children under ten, and going through summer without electricity isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
