Help Vivian replace the fuel pump and return to work
Without my pickup Vivian can't work; a $2,300 repair would put her back on the road.
🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States3,270 views
I make my living with my pickup. 6 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $2,300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $1,550
• Labor charges: $300
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $310
• Towing and inspection: $140
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
