Vivian is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an electrical engineering diploma at Zaria University, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $300.
The registrar has said Vivian can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Vivian has a distinction average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Vivian would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Vivian isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Zaria University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
