The electricity account is 3 months behind. Violet received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on February unless $650 is paid. She had never been late before a reduction in hours.
Violet called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $100 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a newborn, and going through the cold months without electricity isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Violet is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
